Mobile Banking Provider Clairmail Sells to Monitise for $173 Million

A big payday today for one of the companies competing in the ultra-competitive mobile banking space. U.K.-based Monitise has agreed to acquire Clairmail of San Rafael, Calif., for $173 million, pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.
