During the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, Parrot wowed show-goers with the AR.Drone quadcopter. Fast forward two years and Parrot has done it again, announcing the company’s second-generation mobile-controlled AR.Drone 2.0, featuring upgraded hardware and software for enhanced control. The new drone features a 720p front-facing camera, allowing users to capture their flights in HD. Additionally, Parrot has included a 3-axis accelerometer, a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis magnetometer and an array of new sensor to give the AR.Drone 2.0 increased stability.
