Seismic Games Raises $2 Million to Develop Social Games

Los Angeles, Calif.-based Seismic Games has raised $2 million in a first round, ahead of its first social game launch coming later this quarter. The round was led by DFJ Frontier and venture capitalist Tom Matlack. The management team includes CEO Greg Borrud, who previously co-founded Pandemic Studios, which was sold to Electronic Arts in 2007 for $860 million.
