Well, who didn’t see this coming? Overall consumer electronics were down and a bunch of discrete device types got hammered by the smartphone, which subsumes their functionality in a stylishly melt-in-your-mouth sort of way. However, there were some bright spots and Apple likely will get the lion’s share that spotlight.
